NZ Dawn Raids Pre Reading

Hey Cruz, I really like your thinking, ideas, and predictions. Just asking about what you have put for her " Groovy Go Go Boots" As on the back of the cover she said she was saving her pennies for them. Do you think there is a deeper meaning in them?
ReplyDeleteHello Max, I'm Cruz from Mrs Howard's class in Rongokako from Tamatea Intermediate and I would like to say that I do think that there could be a deeper meaning behind the purchase of the "Groovy Go Go Boots' on the cover. I was thinking perhaps they could be representative of the fashion at the time but also something that the character has had to save up for at the time and I was able to connect with this idea because I have also saved up for something that I wanted to get. I wonder what part of the story the boots are going to feature in and how they might become an influence in the raids. What are your thoughts about how the boots might be significant to the story?

How do you think those shoes on the poster represent the shoes that she want's?. I agree with you suitcase idea. How do you think that the suitcase represents that?

ReplyDeletei totally agree with what you are saying about being in her shoes and i am definitely getting the point hat you are putting out there and i thing you are on the right track with the colors. but I have one interesting question for you how do you think people will react if a massacre like this happened in modern day society? will people raid like the 'BLM movements' or will people ignore it. i personally think that people will raid and it would go world-wide instantly what is your thinking lucca?
Yes, I think people will go crazy and there will be an over amount of protesting and people will be having a go at the police and it will just get wayyyyy to out of control. It would be like the pandemic and BLM the world will just turn into this world problem with people protesting, overstayers trying to stay in NZ because there visas have expired. So yes I think it would turn into this crazy world wide massacre.
